AMPO POYAM VALVES is currently supplying more than 4,000 slurry angle severe service valves for the expansion project of Lanjigarh Alumina Refinery from an existing capacity of 2 MTPA to 5 MTPA in Lanjigarh, Odisha, India. The completion of this project will place Lanjigarh Alumina Refinery, owned by Vedanta, as one of the largest single-location alumina refinery complex.
Vedanta Aluminium Limited has relied on AMPO POYAM VALVES for the design and manufacture of more than 4,000 slurry angle valves for isolation purposes in different severe service units of the alumina refinery, such as bauxite, evaporation, RMPH, causticisation, digestion, security, and fine seed filtration, etc.
AMPO POYAM VALVES’s expertise and know-how have allowed the developing optimum solutions in terms of materials, design, and valve performance, considering the heavy slurry service at the refinery.
