Advance Valves has announced the development of 900mm (36-inch) #600 dual plate check valve for cryogenic application.
The valve is being supplied to Freeport LNG in Freeport, Texas, one of the major projects to enable the transformation of the global LNG markets, with the US becoming a significant gas exporter. Advance Valves is supplying the entire range of dual plate check valves for this project including cryogenic and non-cryogenic valves ranging up to 1700mm (68-inch) #300 in size.
This is an example of Advance’s pioneering work and unique cryogenic capabilities which are unmatched globally, the company said in a statement.
This is in continuation with Advance’s growing portfolio of successful deployment of valves in cryogenic applications including LNG liquefaction and regasification terminals, ethane terminals, ethylene crackers, petrochemical plants, ASUs etc.
Advance also has vast experience supplying cryogenic triple offset butterfly valves with complete in-house capabilities up to 60-inch and up to #900. Some recent projects that have commissioned with Advance cryogenic valves include Sabine Pass LNG, Gladstone LNG, GAIL PATA Cryo, C2C3 project at Dahej Petronet among others.
