Amp Energy India targets green energy projects

In a major development towards promoting sustainable growth and reducing carbon emissions, Amp Energy India has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to develop 720 MW of renewable energy projects at the Global Investors Summit 2023.

Under the agreement, Amp Energy India will set up renewable energy projects like solar, wind, hybrid, floating solar, and energy storage projects in the state, with a total capacity of 720 MW. The projects would cost an investment of approx. Rs 5800 crores over the next 3-5 years.

This is a significant step towards achieving the state’s target of generating renewable energy capacity.

The Global Investors Summit 2023 is a platform for investors, businesses, and governments to explore opportunities and partnerships in various sectors, including renewable energy. With its focus on sustainability and innovation, the summit provides an ideal platform for Amp Energy India to showcase its capabilities and contribute to India’s renewable energy goals.

The development of these renewable energy projects is expected to create new jobs, boost local economies, and support the state’s efforts towards achieving its sustainable development goals. As India continues its transition towards a low-carbon future, collaborations like these will play a crucial role in achieving a cleaner, more sustainable future for all.
