AMPO POYAM VALVES gets its own new facility in India

AMPO POYAM VALVES, a specialist in highly engineered valves for the most severe applications and industries, has recently completed construction of their 100% owned new valve manufacturing plant in Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu, India) to accommodate AMPO’s expanding capabilities.
AMPO launched in 2009 a valve manufacturing plant in this country to assist with their customers’ demands and requirements, enabling them to offer the best solutions and alternatives within the market. The new 100% owned AMPO plant comprises an area of approximately 15,000 square meters and includes valve assembly, testing, painting and packing facilities. With this new facility AMPO will be able to manufacture up to 72” size valves, as well as to extend their capabilities. The valve production at the new facilities will start in in this month.
As far as management is concerned, it is important to mention that AMPO INDIA will be an exact copy of the Spanish plant. In Coimbatore AMPO counts with the same departments of Spain and it also has its own management. However, the different departments in Spain and India are continually in touch and the presence of Spanish workers in the Indian workshop is continuous, so that the coordination and communication is fluent. Moreover, they will continue offering the same high quality products guaranteed by the AMPO brand also in India, but with a lower cost and shorter lead times.
