Foundation stone for KIOCL’s coke oven plant

The Union Minister of Steel, Ram Chandra Prasad Singh, laid the foundation stone for the coke oven plant of KIOCL. 
The proposed project is for setting up of two lakh tpa ductile iron spun pipe plant under forward and 1.80 lakh tpa coke oven plant under backward integration projects at blast furnace unit.
The new plant will be set up at a CAPEX of Rs 836.90 crore and would take 24 months to complete from the date of placement of the order on the main technological package supplier.
