IL&FS Engg JV bags INR 136.26 Cr project from PGCIL

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engg), and Unitech Power Transmission Ltd JV has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) for Supply Contract for Tower Package-TW05 for 765 KV D/C Bhuj-Banaskanta Transmission Line (Part-V) associated with Green Energy Corridors: Inter-State Transmission Scheme – Part C, along with contract for construction works of this line in the state of Gujarat. The total value of this contract is INR 136.26 Cr, and the project completion period is 23 months from the date of issue of the LOA. IL&FS Engineering Services is the lead partner for this contract that has been won under ICB bidding process, and the project is funded under KWU loan.
IL&FS Engineering Services is already executing a 765 KV line project under package TW02 of PGCIL in the same transmission line corridor and is currently executing Rural Electrification (RE) works in Uttar Pradesh for Paschimanchal Vidhyut Vitran Nigam Limited worth around INR 389.28 Cr, and for Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited worth INR 474.92 Cr in Uttar Pradesh.
IL&FS Engineering Services is also executing RE works for West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. worth more than INR 600 Cr for 3000 villages in West Bengal.
