Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (HVPNL) has recently awarded Isolux Corsan the execution of three transmission lines project in several locations of the region. These contracts position Isolux Corsan as one of the first building companies in India regarding transport and energy distribution.
The first project will be the construction of 70 km of 220 kV transmission lines in Kaithal, Kurukshetra and Karn, has a budget of EUR 5.5 M and will have an execution period of 18 months. The second project will be the execution of 150 km of 220 kV/66 kV transmission lines with a total budget of EUR 11.4 M and an execution period of 18 months. The third project will be the execution of 70 km of 220 kV/132 kV transmission lines with a total budget of EUR 5.2 M and an execution period of 18 months.
The proposed construction of these transmission lines will have a positive impact on the state as it will improve electricity supply in the area and drive or socio-economic conditions of this Haryana with the generation of employment opportunities. It will foster the future development of other infrastructure like water supply, drainage and sanitation. The company is carrying out the construction of 3,400 kilometers of transmission lines, 33 substations in the states of Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
