JSW Energy’s arm receives LoI from PCKL

JSW Energy’s wholly owned subsidiary JSW Neo Energy (JSW Neo) has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from the Power Company of Karnataka (PCKL) for procurement of 2,400 MWh (300 MW x 8hrs) energy storage from the Pumped Hydro Storage Project (PSP). The LoI is for providing storage capacity for a period of 40 years. The project would be located in Karnataka and designed for eight hours of storage capacity per day.

JSW Energy, part of the JSW Group, is a growing energy company. The Group has diversified interests in carbon steel, power, mining, industrial gases, port facilities, aluminium, cement, and information technology.
