KEC International secures Rs. 1,224crore orders

KEC International Ltd. (KEC), a global infrastructure EPC major, an RPG Group company has recently secured new orders worth Rs. 1,224 crore.

Transmission & distribution business secured orders worth Rs. 805 crore in India, Thailand and Bangladesh including the following two orders of Rs. 562 crore from Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) under Green Energy Corridors. A turnkey order of Rs. 173 crore from Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand for construction of 500 kV transmission line on Thai/ Laos Border. A turnkey order of Rs. 43 crore from Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Ltd for construction of 132 kV transmission lines.

Railways business secured orders worth Rs. 248 crore in total, which includes an overhead electrification composite order of Rs 110 crore from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) for sections between Chhindwara – Kalumna of Nagpur Division in South East Central Railway. An overhead electrification order of Rs 138 crore was secured from Central Organization for Railway Electrification (CORE) for sections between Jhansi – Manikpur of Jhansi Division in North Central Railway. Cables business secured orders worth Rs 171 crore for supply of power cables (incl. EHV) and telecom cables.
