The LISEGA Group has succeeded in winning a major contract for the North Field Expansion project in Qatar. The North Field Expansion project is a further development of the offshore gas field off the coast of Qatar with an investment volume of almost USD 30bn. This makes it one of the largest LNG projects in the world. The customer is supplying three LNG tanks and the associated pipelines onshore for this project.
The order in the double-digit million range is earmarked for the manufacturing site in Wuhu (China), which specializes in cold-insulated pipe supports, over the next two years.
