L&T awarded significant contracts

The construction arm of L&T has secured orders from prestigious clients for its varied businesses in India and abroad. 
The Business has secured a Water Infrastructure order from a prestigious client in the United Arab Emirates to execute a Recycled Water Transmission Pipeline Project.
This Contract has been won against stiff competition and is a breakthrough project with a new customer in the UAE. The scope of work involves Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning of Recycled Water Transmission Pipelines of 87 km with associated Civil Works, TSE Reservoirs, Micro Tunnelling Works, Structural, Electrical and Instrumentation Works.
The business has also secured an EPC order from National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) for the construction of a Pump House for Slurry & Water Pipeline Systems. The major scope including the supply of PD Pumps 400 m3/hr @ 1550 mWc and 1500 m3/hr @ 30 mWc of Slurry Charge pumps, constructing the pump house and associated facilities at Bacheli, Dantewada District, Chhattisgarh. This is a repeat order from NMDC.
Another order has been secured from Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) for the works of the “Design and Construction of infrastructure Works for roads, drains, culverts, potable & recycle water supply systems, a sewerage system, and power systems for a hi-tech township at Mahalunge, Pune.” This will be the first project to be developed under the Town Planning Scheme by PMRDA.
The business has secured an order from Konkan LNG Private Limited (KLPL) based on the open competitive bidding process.
The work comprises new construction and rehabilitation for a 2.31 km long breakwater. The scope includes design, model study, rehabilitation of existing works, dredging, quarrying, the casting of new accropodes, etc.
