The construction arm of L&T has recently won orders worth Rs 5146Cr across various business segments. Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) Business has bagged major orders worth Rs 2780Cr in the domestic & international markets across the wide array of its business spectrum. Another order has been secured from a prestigious client for design, engineering, procurement, erection, testing & commissioning of a 20MW Solar Photovoltaic Power Plant, including associated 110kV substation and transmission line, in the southern part of Tamil Nadu.
Water & Effluent Treatment Business has won orders worth Rs 1292Cr. Engineering, procurement and construction orders have been secured from Narmada Water Resource Water Supply & Kalpsar Department, Government of Gujarat, for the execution of Sauni Yojana Link 2 Package 6 Project, Lift Irrigation MS Pipeline for the transmission of 200 cusecs of water from Boru to Dharoi Main Canal and from Dhadhusan to Redlaxmipura.
Smart World & Communication Business has secured an order worth Rs 221Cr from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd. to build Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure for Smart Transmission Network and Asset Management System in the state of Rajasthan.
Building & Factories Business has won orders worth Rs 534Cr. An order has been secured from a renowned developer to construct residential towers in Kolkata, West Bengal.
Metallurgical and Material Handling Business has won orders worth Rs 319Cr. The business has bagged a prestigious engineering, procurement and construction order from Hindustan Zinc Limited for their 1.5 MTPA Lead-Zinc Beneficiation Plant Phase III at S K Mines, Rajasthan.
