OEM Group, and its regional partner, Abu Dhabi-based Sigma Engineering Works (SEW), have together secured a major contract from its second seven-figure contract with the largest oil and gas producer in the UAE, thus bolstering its track record in the Middle East market.
As per the five-year deal, OEM will be providing services such as inspection, repair, corrective and preventative maintenance to the Emirati firm in addition to the supply of spare parts for diesel engines and diesel-driven equipment.
The work will be carried out on several offshore drilling platforms in Abu Dhabi as well as the surrounding islands, it stated.
OEM, which will celebrate its tenth year in business later this year has been servicing the oil and gas, marine, and renewables sector in the engine and generator repairs, servicing, and testing since its inception and has built up an impressive track record globally.
In the last year, the company has experienced an exceptional increase in work in the Middle East with multiple contracts wins with major contractors and new partnerships.
