Pact signed to enhance treated water networks in Oman

With a cost of more than OMR 11M, an agreement has been signed to enhance sewage and treated water networks in the Wilayat of Seeb and Airport Heights in Muscat Governorate, said Oman Water and Wastewater Services Company (OWWSC).
OWWSC said in a statement: "An agreement was signed for a project to enhance sewage and treated water networks in the Wilayat of Seeb and Airport Heights, at a total cost of more than OMR 11M. The project is expected to be completed within 24 months."
The agreement was signed by Oman Water and Wastewater Services Company, Eng. Omar bin Khalfan Al Wahaibi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, CEO of Nama Group, and in the presence of Mr Qais Al Zakwani, CEO of Oman Water and Wastewater Services Company, and from the executing company – Hassan Allam Contracting Company, signed by its branch manager in Oman.
The project connects 87 governmental, residential, and commercial facilities to receive more than 21,000 cubic metres per day of sewage, and supply 63 facilities with more than 24,000 cubic metres per day of treated water.
