PARCOL wins remarkable contracts in Indian market

PARCOL has taken a significant leap by securing few significant contracts in Indian power market over last few months. PARCOL shall be supplying Auxilliary-PRDS and LP Turbine Bypass systems for 500 MW, 660 MW and 800 MW coal fired projects. This comes on the heels of securing registrations and necessary approvals from Indian BTG Manufacturer and EPC contractor M/s BHEL as well as Central Generation Utility (NTPC) and State Generating companies (GSECL and TSGENCO).

Indian power market continues to face challenge of electricity demand exceeding supply on base load as well as peak load considerations. However, the advantages of supercritical technology as well as upcoming clean coal technologies are well understood and therefore Indian power generators continue to look towards setting up fossil fuel-based plants utilising such technologies.
In a recent announcement, feasibility studies are in progress to explore efficient supercritical and ultra-supercritical projects that address the concerns of land acquisition, coal linkage and water availability.
