SNC-Lavalin wins EPC project in Middle East

SNC-Lavalin, one of the leading engineering and construction groups in the world, has recently been awarded an important oil and gas contract in the Middle East with an approximate value of USD 800M. The contract further develops SNC-Lavalin’s position in the Middle East. The project involves developing the infrastructure and processing facilities for a gas field, with SNC-Lavalin’s lump sum turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) scope on the project including connecting gas producing wells into the main processing plant.
“A substantial award such as this shows our continued focus on our clients and the resilience of our business model, despite the ongoing pressures in the industry,” said Christian Brown, President, Oil & Gas, SNC-Lavalin. “We are very pleased to grow our project portfolio with this key client and are excited to be combining resources from Valerus, our gas handling and processing experts, with our strong engineering team to deliver this project.”
SNC-Lavalin has been successfully delivering projects in the Middle East across a variety of industry sectors, including infrastructure, oil and gas, mining and power for the past 50 years. SNC-Lavalin’s broad presence in the Middle East region allows the company to deliver sustainable, customized and high-quality project solutions to its local clients.
