TGV Sraac to expand caustic soda capacity

TGV Sraac’s board has approved the proposal of the company to expand its caustic soda capacity by 270 MTs and related liquid chlorine etc., products, and also for expanding the existing chloromethanes products capacity by another 100 TPD.

The estimated project cost of the schemes is Rs 300 crore. It is also approved by the Board of Directors for the company to fund the project with internal accruals. The Board of Directors of the company at their meeting held in the first week of December 2022 have approved the same.

TGV Sraac (formerly known as Sree Rayalaseema Alkalies and Allied Chemicals) is engaged in the business of producing chlor-alkali products, chloromethane, and also manufactures castor derivatives and fatty acids.
